DAVID PENDLETON JOINS GOVERNOR LINGLE’S POLICY TEAM

HONOLULU – Former State Representative David Pendleton has joined Governor Linda Lingle’s staff as senior policy analyst.
Pendleton served eight years (four terms) in the Hawai`i House of Representatives where he represented Kailua and Kane`ohe. During his tenure in the Legislature, he served as Minority Floor Leader, Minority Whip and Assistant Minority Leader.
Pendleton is also a former school teacher, university administrator, and pastor. He has also been a Pacific Century Fellow and a Henry Toll Fellow.
He is a volunteer faculty member of the Center for Tomorrow’s Leaders and is presently enrolled in the U.S. Marines Command and Staff College Distance Education Program at Marine Corps Base Hawai`i.
Pendleton holds a law degree from the University of Southern California and is admitted to practice law in Hawai`i and California.
